On 9/11/08, the BSO participated in a service fair where we advertised BSO MACS, our mentoring and community service program, and handed out absentee ballot request letters. We then joined the rest of the Columbia community to watch the Service Nation Summit from Low Plaza.

Incidences of bias and hate both on Columbia's campus and across the country prompted students of various backgrounds to unite in protest against injustice.
